How to Donate Burial Plots
Donating a burial plot is a noble gesture. Beyond the emotional reward, it can provide you with tax benefits.

Steps:
- Reach Out to Your Cemetery: Inform them of your intent to donate the burial plot to Pierced Forever Foundation.
- Deed of Transfer: The cemetery will draft this document. Once you've signed it, send it to:
Pierced Forever Foundation, 30850 Telegraph Rd. Ste 250 Bingham Farms, MI 48025 - Return Process: We'll sign and return the original document to the cemetery.
- Valuation: Pierced Forever Foundation does not assign a value to your donated plot. If you choose to claim the donation for tax purposes, you may need to determine its value. For plots valued at $5,000 or more, an IRS-approved appraisal might be required. Consult IRS form #8283 for your tax records, available on the IRS website.
- Provide Required Details: See the Plot Donation Form below
- Donation Receipt: After completing the above steps, we'll send you a tax-deductible receipt for your records.
